User Registration and Setup

To utilize nora, users must complete a registration process that involves receiving a confirmation SMS. Identification through POSTIDENT services is also required to finalize registration. It is advisable to download the app and register immediately upon installation to ensure readiness in an emergency.

After registration, personal health details—such as medical conditions or disabilities—can be inputted into the app, allowing responders to prepare adequately for potential emergencies.

Emergency Calling Process

In an emergency, nora simplifies the calling procedure into several straightforward steps:

 <li>Confirm Emergency Location: Your mobile device will ascertain your location and relay it along with the emergency call. Should the device fail to identify the correct location, adjustments can be made manually.</li>
 
 <li>Identify Type of Emergency: Users may contact either police or fire/rescue services by responding to a series of up to five questions, each answered by selecting from provided options.</li>
 
 <li>Engage Through Chat: Post-call initiation, users gain immediate access to a chat function with an emergency handler, allowing for the relay of additional information or inquiries about the situation. However, emergency dispatch occurs regardless of chat usage.</li>
